Every platform below succeeds or fails on the same thing: whether you capture a click identifier on arrival, persist it long enough to survive your sales cycle, and reconcile it against real revenue in your CRM.
The return on any tracking tool is directly proportional to who is using it and what they do with it. We have seen companies with excellent tracking architecture whose agencies still bid only on form fills, buffered inbound calls (easy to fake), or raw bookings, and never touch offline conversions, gross-profit bidding, or optimizing to an SQL. The tool was not the problem; the operator was. A cheaper alternative in capable hands beats an expensive one used at the surface. Keep that in mind as you read, because the honest answer to "what is the best Hyros alternative" is often "the one you will actually use to its depth."
One note before the list: the two native options are not equal, but the difference is not that one lacks a click identifier. Both give you one you can match conversions on, Google's gclid and Meta's fbclid. The real difference is the attribution window, and that is where the whole comparison turns.
Built for Shopify ecommerce. Strong real-time dashboards, creative analytics, and a clean pixel that DTC brands like. If you are a same-session ecommerce store living inside Shopify, it is often a better day-to-day fit than Hyros. Weaker for long sales cycles, phone-based sales, and non-ecommerce lead gen.
Higher-end ecommerce attribution with media-mix modeling on top of multi-touch. Aimed at larger DTC brands that want modeled channel-level guidance and have the spend to justify the price. Powerful, but it leans on modeling, and it is overkill for most lead-gen and high-ticket businesses.
Google's own stack, GA4 with Enhanced Conversions, Consent Mode, and server-side GTM, is genuinely capable. Google hands you the gclid, lets you set conversion windows of up to 90 days, and imports offline conversions against that click for as long as it retains the gclid (90 days, or 63 days for Enhanced Conversions for Leads). That lets you bid deeper into the funnel, toward a qualified lead or a closed deal, not just a form. The catch is decay: the further from the click the outcome sits, the more Google's picture diverges from real performance, and it only ever sees Google's own touchpoints. For a Google-heavy advertiser with a CRM, native Google gets you a long way.
Meta also gives you a click identifier, the fbclid, captured as fbc and sent back through the Conversions API to match conversions to the click. The match is fine. What Meta does not give you is time: since iOS 14.5 and ATT, Meta's click attribution window is capped at 7 days, and the old 28-day click window is gone. So Meta structurally cannot optimize toward anything that converts after day seven, which for high-ticket and long-cycle businesses is most of the revenue. The window, not the match, is the handicap, and it is the single clearest reason to put a deterministic layer on top.
This is the difference that actually decides the tool. Meta caps you at a 7-day click window, so it cannot bid on anything that closes later; Hyros fills that gap by showing you precisely what happens after Meta's 7-day post-click window closes, so the later revenue becomes visible and actionable instead of invisible. Google is more generous, up to a 90-day window against the gclid, so you can bid deeper into the funnel, on a qualified lead or a signed deal. But even there, real performance decays against what Google is able to see: the longer the cycle, the more outcomes land outside the window or off Google's own touchpoints. A deterministic layer exists to recover exactly that gap, on both platforms.
Even a flawless native setup on each platform has one gap it cannot close alone: run Google and Meta together and both claim the same conversion. Add the numbers up and combined reported revenue can be nearly double what actually landed, because neither native stack deduplicates against the other, and neither can see the other. Counting a customer once across platforms is something only a layer sitting above both can do, whether that is Hyros or a custom pipeline. If you run Google and Meta together, this matters more than which native tool is marginally better.

Hyros earns its keep in a specific profile: high-ticket offers, long or multi-touch sales cycles, phone and call-driven sales, webinars and info products, and any business where the same customer touches several ad platforms before buying. Its call tracking, long-window attribution, and cross-platform deduplication are built for exactly that world, which is why it is popular with coaches, consultants, agencies, and course sellers rather than quick-checkout ecommerce. If that is you, the alternatives above will usually give you less, not more, and the money you save on software you will lose in blind budget decisions.
Look hard at Triple Whale first, or Northbeam if you are a large DTC brand that wants modeled channel guidance. Hyros can work, but you may not need everything it does.

The real decision is offline-conversion import quality and how deep you bid, not the logo on the dashboard. Hyros or a well-built native Google stack can both work; the CRM reconciliation is what determines results.
